WELCOME
OXART was founded in 2009 by a group of professional Oxford-based artists and art professionals, who share a committment to supporting and promoting, the work of both amature and professional artists based, in Oxfordshire.
The aim is to establish both an OXART annual open art competition and the first Oxford Affordable Art Fair whereby the public can view a large range of work by local artists in a single venue, all at an affordable price and with direct access to the artists.

How OXART operates
OXART is a social enterprise run by a Board of volunteers, comprising artists and other professionals who generously give their time and expertise, free of charge.
Funding for OXART is managed from the support of a number of sponsors.
